Duties :

  • The senior roving administrative assistant provides secretarial and administrative services as assigned by Human Resources Assistant.  The duties include controlling, distributing, and securing classified documents; receiving phone calls, greeting visitors, maintaining meeting calendars, drafting routine memos, letters and/or telegrams as appropriate, and assist in any special projects when assigned to HR

Qualifications and Evaluations :

  • Requirements : EXPERIENCE:  Must have minimum 3 years working experience in performing administrative/secretarial duties and/or office management duties.
  • Education Requirements: EDUCATION: Two years university or college studies is required.
  • Evaluations: LANGUAGE:  Must have a Good Working Knowledge in speaking/reading/writing English is required.  (This may be tested)

2. Office Management Assistant

Salary:USD $34,770

Duties :

  • The incumbent performs clerical and administrative duties as the Office Management Assistant (OMA) for the Regional Security Office (RSO) pertaining to a  multitude of RSO Administrative items, both classified and unclassified. The incumbent needs to work independently and posses strong communication skills as the incumbent will be in contact with many diverse individuals on a daily basis. Incumbent will require unescorted access to the Control Access Area (CAA) and a Secret security clearance for most post, although a Top Secret security clearance may be required in certain instances where Post require it.

Qualifications and Evaluations :

  • Requirements : EXPERIENCE :  Minimum of two years of administrative experience which would include some of the following types of administrative duties:  filing, scanning, scheduling appointments/meetings, maintaining calendars, ordering office supplies, making travel arrangements and receiving telephone calls
  • Education Requirements: Completion of high school is required 
  • Evaluations : LANGUAGE:   Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required (This maybe tested)
  • Security clearance for this level is Top Secret Security Clearance

3. Engineering Technician (Building Automated Systems)

Salary:IDR Rp249.131.201

Duties :

  • The Building Automated Systems Engineering Technician (BASET) will report directly to the Senior/Deputy Facility Manager and be responsible for the operation and maintenance, which may include a Reliability Centered Maintenance program (RCM), of computer and microprocessor-controlled systems located throughout the New Embassy Compound (NEC). The BASET sets up and/or validates setup for all microprocessor-controlled equipment and maintains a log of system set-points in a format specified by the Senior/Deputy Facility Manager and system design protocols

Qualifications and Evaluations :

  • Requirements: EXPERIENCE:  Minimum of five (5) years field experience in the operation and maintenance of a building automation system (BAS), including computer and microprocessor control system installation and programming. The experience may have been gained as a result of performing general maintenance on computer controlled system and equipment; however, at least two (2) years must have been spent in direct maintenance of BAS specific components in a similar environment in addition to three (3) years of experience with large, modern, commercial or Government office building operations and maintenance. Experience working with U.S. building, trade, construction, fire, and safety codes and standards is required
  • Education Requirements: The completion of a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, in Mechanical/Electrical/General Engineering or Computerized systems, control and sensor technology is required. Applicants must have proof of specialized technical training to match background requirements

4. General Service Assistant

Salary:IDR Rp144.483.333

Duties :

  • This position is the deputy Director to the Senior General Services Specialist (Director, Visitor Support Unit) and directly supervises the logistical of the Visitor Support Unit (VSU). The incumbent’s basic function is to manage three critical mission logistical services that include the following: manage logistical requirements for visiting high level civilian groups and military officials (partnered with Defense Attaché Office) to Indonesia; management of the post’s expediting (immigration and customs clearance) assistance program; and daily management of the mission employee visa program

Qualifications and Evaluations

  • Requirements: EXPERIENCE: The position requires minimum of five years of specialized experience in a logistical/customer service/travel field including 6 months of supervisory experience 
  • Education Requirements: Mandatory: two or more years college level course work required
  • Evaluations: LANGUAGE:  Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. This will be tested.

Duties :

  • The Visitor Support Unit (VSU) Director serves as the primary authority and principle Foreign Service Nasional (FSN)/Local Employee Staff (LE Staff) in General Service Office (GSO) who is responsible for managing post VIP visitors, official visas, hotel liaison and rate negotiator, mission events, airport authority requirements and the Mirasole compound

Qualifications and Evaluations :

  • Requirements: EXPERIENCE:  The position requires at least five years of professional experiences in general services, travel/transportation, logistic management, protocol, or government administration. S/he requires at least one year of supervisory experience
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Travel/Transportation, Hospitality Hotel Management or Business Administration
  • Evaluations: LANGUAGE:  Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. This will be tested.
