PTFI menambang dan memproses bijih menghasilkan konsentrat yang mengandung tembaga, emas dan perak. Memasarkan konsentrat ke seluruh penjuru dunia dan terutama ke smelter tembaga dalam negeri, PT Smelting. Tambang di kawasan mineral Grasberg, Papua – Indonesia merupakan salah satu deposit tembaga dan emas terbesar di dunia. Freeport saat ini menambang pada fase akhir tambang terbuka Grasberg. Kami tengah mengerjakan beberapa proyek pada kawasan mineral Grasberg sehubungan dengan pengembangan beberapa tambang bawah tanah berkadar tinggi yang berskala besar dan berumur panjang. Secara total, semua tambang bawah tanah ini diharapkan menghasilkan tembaga dan emas skala besar sehubungan dengan peralihan dari tambang terbuka Grasberg.

Internship Program in PT Freeport Indonesia

1. Business Solution Analyst

We are looking for 12 months study program by online/working from home (WFH), full time Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026, as listed below :

• As an IT Business Solution Analyst Intern at PT Freeport Indonesia, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the mining industry while contributing to our digital transformation efforts. This internship will provide you with exposure to various aspects of IT, business analysis, and the mining sector.

Requirements :

• Active student in D4/S1
• Minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00
• Must obtain approval from the university to take part in the program by attaching an official letter from the university
• Committed to join the program for 12 months full time (Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026)
• In physically and mentally healthy condition
• Good behaviour and communication

Key Responsibilities :

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into IT requirements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data related to mining operations and business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• System Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation and selection of IT solutions that align with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements using technology.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT solutions, requirements, and processes.
• Testing: Participate in testing activities, including test case creation, execution, and issue tracking.

Qualifications :

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Basic knowledge of business analysis concepts is a plus
• Enthusiasm for learning about the mining industry and its IT requirements

2. Business Intelligence

We are looking for 12 months study program by online/working from home (WFH), full time Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026, as listed below:

• Become member of Business Intelligence (BI) Development Team to provide solutions for data analytic using Snowflake Warehouse, Data Transformation, Dashboard Reporting platform within IT Projects, SDLC and Agile methodology.

Requirements :

• Active student in D4/S1
• Minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00
• Must obtain approval from the university to take part in the program by attaching an official letter from the university
• Committed to join the program for 12 months full time (Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026)

• Data Management: Designing and maintaining data using Snowflake as data warehouse aligning with global company standard.
• Data Engineering: integrating data from multi source systems to Snowflake warehouse.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Using data to identify and solve business problems, improving processes and strategies.
• Continues Learning: Staying updated with the latest BI tolls, technologies align with global company standard.

Qualifications :

• Major in Technology/System Information.
• Having understanding with Data Analysis.
• Having understanding with Data Visualization.
• Having understanding Database System, SQL Programming Language, Data Warehouse.
• Having experience ETL Tools is a plus.

3. Developer

We are looking for 12 months study program by online/working from home (WFH), full time Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026, as listed below:

• We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Application/Software Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop your skills, and contribute to meaningful software solutions using HTML5, Bootstrap, Flutter, and Microsoft Technology (ASP .Net, Azure Cloud Platform, SQL Server, etc.) and learn Agile process.

Requirements :

• Active student in D4/S1
• Minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00
• Must obtain approval from the university to take part in the program by attaching an official letter from the university

• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Basic Knowledge of Databases: Understanding of database management systems and SQL.
• Having strong algorithm programming, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
