1. Airport Services Duty Officer

In this role, you will supervise and control flight-handling activities such as flight editing, check-in, transfers and boarding, in order to ensure a high service standard.  You will achieve optimum customer satisfaction and on-time department of flights.  You will also have overall control of the shift as a direct representative of the Airport Services Manager.  You will also ensure punctuality and safety of all Qatar Airways operations.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring that passenger and aircraft handling practices conform to the safety and security standards
  • Ensuring that all QR aircraft handling standards are met on a shift basis
  • Managing and controlling manpower on the shift, in order to optimize utilization and to maintain staff morale and discipline
  • Ensuring proper allocation of manpower and resources in the airport operations
  • Completing checks to ensure adequate standards are maintained
  • Resolving customer problems and complaints while on duty and working with all departments including Customer Relations to provide resolutions for complaint handling
  • Facilitating ramp handling activities in liaison with GHA, Caterers, Fueling, Maintenance, Cargo, and Crew to expedite departure

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in an airline or reputed Ground Handling Operations at supervisory level.
  • Strong background in Airport or GHA Operations
  • Good understanding of Conditions of Carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security Procedures in accordance with ICAO and IATA.
  • Overall knowledge of airport functions within passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance and dangerous goods regulations.
  • Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
  • Must have a  legal rights to live and work in Indonesia.

2. Airport Services Duty Supervisor

Reporting directly to the Duty Officer you will supervise your team to deliver exceptional customer service to our customers  to ensure they receive the award winning 5-star service Qatar Airways is renowned for. You will also be required to support the Airport Services Manager when needed as well as displaying excellent skills to deal with flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding and any other challenges.

  • Facilitates ramp handling in liaison with all airport staff to expedite departures
  • Supervises the airport team to ensure on-time flight closure and working towards overall on-time performance
  • Plan efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents and provide support to the
  • Airport Services Manager in case of flight disruptions, mis-connections and other passenger related disruptions
  • Provide leadership, demonstrate team building skills, direct staff and evaluate performance as well as being able to build on constructive feedback
  • Generate various reports and always keep the workplace neat and tidy as well as offering support to the Airport Services
  • Manager in implementation of training and remaining sensitive in varying difficult situations at all times
  • Manage and train the ticketing team

Qualifications:

  • Relevant College or University qualification
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an airline or reputed Ground Handling Operations at supervisory level.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
  • Knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling and Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • Able to perform duties under pressure whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service standards.
  • Good understanding of conditions of carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures
  • Experience in areas such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations, Dangerous Goods Regulations and ramp handling
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
  • You must have the legal rights to live and work in Indonesia to be considered for this role.

3. Senior Airport Services Agent

Job Role

Provides quality service to passenger in respect to check-in, boarding, special services, lounges, airport hotel and baggage services as per company’s commercial and safety standards and procedures ensuring passenger and their baggage are handled in a consistent and efficient manner. Ensure Premium Passengers receive total quality service and staffs adhere to safety policy and security standards of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Trade or Vocational qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of job-related experience required with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Airport Operations of a leading airline
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language
  • High energy and positive attitude are necessary to perform well in this very high pressured and demanding environment
  • DCS experience and knowledge of ticketing is an advantage for this jo
  • Able to manage mishandled baggage services, including service recovery situations with customers
  • Ideally completed courses in Passenger Handling and Customer Services
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent customer focus and service delivery
  • Must have a legal rights to live and work in Indonesia.

4. Airport Services Agent

  • Liaising with check-in, transfer desk and other related areas for the smooth acceptance of passengers.
  • Escorting and directing arriving and departing passengers to the respective areas such as hotel desk, visa counter, transfer desk, premium lounges and boarding gates.
  • Assisting the Duty Officer in handling company materials and records.
  • Liaising with the Ground Handling agent (GHA) for quick processing of hotel and transfer passengers.
  • Ensuring passengers are assisted smoothly through airport facilities.
  • Performing other related duties for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Supervising GHA staff during all flights to ensure Qatar Airways standards of service quality is maintained.
  • Organizing check-in counters and coordinating documentation issues.

Qualifications:

  • High School Qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience required with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Airline/ Travel Industry/ Hospitality Institute.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language
  • High energy and positive attitude are necessary to perform well in this very high pressured and demanding environment
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong team orientation
  • Must have a legal rights to live and work in Indonesia
