Saat ini PT Freeport Indonesia memberikan kesempatan lowongan kerja untuk dapat bergabung bersama dengan posisi sebagai berikut:


1. Smelter Operation Readiness – Superintendent, Tax Compliance

  • Deadline 2 April 2024

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are :

  • Lead the assessment of withholding taxes Article 4 (2), 15, 23, and 26, on PTFI’s purchase of services from local suppliers and service from offshore vendors and the remittance of the taxes withheld, as well as VAT, PNBP and local taxes to the Indonesian State Treasury within a prescribed timeframe.
  • Coordinate with Jakarta Tax Team Filing of Withholding Tax returns to the Indonesia Tax Office (“ITO”) and remittance of any money owed to the Indonesian State Treasury on monthly basis, and support data for VAT tax return.
  • Direct, review, and monitor to make sure a correct and proper handling of creditable and non-creditable VAT. Maintain web application for VAT administration, including data flow and operating manual for application and make sure that Tax Invoice code 07 should has been supported by PPKEK/PJKEK.
  • Liaise with corporate tax department in the collection of Certificate of Domicile (“COD”) for offshore contractors according to the tax treaty and applicable Indonesia tax and regulation which are applicable to offshore contractors such as standardized form issued by Directorate General of Tax such as Form DGT-1. Making sure that the correct assessment has been applied to the payment of PTFI and/or affiliates dividend.
  • Direct coordination with PTFI Contract Department, Human Resources and Accounting Department on advising the proper and correct mechanism on income tax law to ensure that current and proposed income tax policy has been set up in accordance with current income tax law and regulation.
  • Review and reconcile all documents prepared by Accountants of WHT, VAT, PNBP/Local Taxes to ensure the accuracy and punctuality.
  • Lead the provision of information for routine SOX audit by the internal audit team. Attach to audit team members to provide significant assistance in responding to audit queries in the area of withholding taxes.

The key challenges in this position include :

  • Dealing with changing government tax laws and regulations.
  • Differences in Withholding tax regulations between the IUPK PTFI and generally prevailing tax regulations. Also possible different interpretation of the tax facilities provided by the IUPK.
  • Increased assistances to audit section as audits are now more frequent and litigation processes are overlapping between one year to the next.
  • Maintain consistency on tax treatment to avoid over assessment during tax audit.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are :

  • Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor Degree (S1) in Economic, Accounting or Fiscal Administration with at least 4 years experience as tax specialist in multinational Company or in Tax Consultant Firm.

2. Business Process, Smelting & Refinery – Contractor Support Administration Officer

  • Deadline 12 April 2024

Tugas dan tanggung jawab utama posisi ini:

  • Performing administrative task regarding contractors manpower documentation / Melaksanakan tugas administrasi terkait dokumentasi manpower kontraktor
  • Monitoring every progress for contractors manpower onboarding/ Memantau setiap kemajuan dalam setiap fase onboarding tenaga kerja kontraktor
  • Involved in safety training module development and evaluation / Terlibat dalam pengembangan dan evaluasi modul pelatihan keselamatan
  • Performing administrative task regarding UID Processing (activate, reactivate, deactivate) / Melakukan tugas administratif terkait UID Badge (aktifkan, aktifkan kembali, nonaktifkan)
  • Prepare weekly & monthly report regarding Contractor Mobilization Process/ Menyusun laporan mingguan & bulanan mengenai Proses Mobilisasi Kontraktor
  • Coordinate with Contract Managements Team regarding starts from preparation till contractors manpower onboarded/ Berkoordinasi dengan Tim Manajemen Kontrak mengenai Proses Onboarding Kontraktor dimulai dari persiapan hingga tenaga kerja kontraktor siap bekerja

3. Dewatering Plant – Foreman, DWP Operations & Pipeline Maintenance SHE & Env. #1

  • Deadline 7 April 2024

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are :

  • Develop communications with each front level management in each area of responsibility and conduct a safety meeting with all levels of management in the assigned areas of responsibility, in controlling the safety accountability and health programs, to ensure all safety programs are implemented continuously and appropriately to gain better safety performance.
  • Control the safety all exceeding activities carried out in assigned areas of responsibility, in order to monitor all recommendations of internal/external audits and investigation of incidents, to ensure its result implementation to close the loop of recommendations and standards.
  • Develop safety procedures and policies related project in the assigned areas of responsibility to comply with safety standards and engineering aspects as well as to control the procedures and policies are followed and in place for the protection of the company and its employees.
  • Organize and control industrial hygiene activities, such as hearing conversation program, respiratory conservation program, respiratory fit testing, etc in the assigned areas of responsibility, to reduce exposure to dust, noise and other non-hygienic factors through sampling and monitoring of occupational health check program, to encourage the provision of a clean and hygiene workplace so that there are no health problems due to workplace hygiene.
  • Prepare, produce, and issue report of OTP FRESH MS division progress status and present to department head of area safety and departmental Sub steering committee, in performing function as of member KP committee, to develop aspects of safety in the assigned areas of responsibility to comply with the concept of KP Safety Management System.
  • Organize rescue volunteer in the area and to ensure they are trained and ready to respond to any emergency and ensure all employees in the assigned areas responsibility are trained in emergency procedure.
  • Organize accident investigation in the assigned area of responsibility, to determine basic causes and recommend action to prevent re-occurrence with preparing all documents including safety statistics, accident analysis and other, to generate recommendation and action plan to the department head to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Organize and control the internal audits in the assigned areas of responsibility to the critical procedures and policies implementation, to determine critical procedure training and to ensure the procedures are reviewed by all levels.
  • Organize and control the implementation of safety program such as evacuation drills, safety publications, FRM and SAP programs, and provide module for the supervisory development programs in the assigned areas of responsibility in compliance with the GOI and international safety procedures and standards.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are :

  • Minimum Education and Experience:
    • S1 graduate in Mining engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, Environmental engineering, or other Technical Field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
    • Preferably to have some trainings and license in Safety.
    • Have Ahli K3 Umum certificate or POP or any equal safety certificate.

4. Geoengineering – Engineer, Mine Closure & Surface Geotech #3

  • Deadline 01 April 2024

The key duties and responsibility of this position are :

  • Maintain and improve section safety performance by enforcing and following company standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs.
  • Analyze seismic monitoring data to indicate ground response and seismic related hazards to ensure the safety of underground facilities, access, and production areas.
  • Update database system for geotechnical data/information and reports/recommendation so the database is accessible and preservable.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly report for reviewing from senior engineers/Superintendent.
  • Develop his skills and knowledge to go along with new technology and methods to improve the service to clients and cope with new project and case study in block cave mining.
  • Intense coordination with Organization Leader/direct supervisor for client requirement.
  • Review seiswatch parameter related DMLZ mining activity and trigger rate activity GBC-Pit Interaction (include seismic distribution).
  • Provide DOZ-DMLZ & GBC seismic update notification for blasting and update status of seismic protocol, update GBC seismic event rate at Middle access concern area.
  • Review Firefly lighting system for DMLZ and GBC production area.
  • Review seismic condition outside & inside cave lines or caving DMLZ and database seismic closure and hydrofract closure time, the performance of the seismic activity rate tracker.
  • Review the exclusion zone & exclusion times into working places after production blasts.
  • Re-assess the required configuration, the sensitivity, the location accuracy of seismic network & the suitability of currently employed sensors.
  • Review Seismic Moment Tensor Inversion (SMTI) – analysis for Mw>0.5, PPV analysis related mining (blasting) impact to facilities accommodation.
  • Review monitoring system function and availability monitoring devices per area concern (Main Road, Mill, Townsite).
  • Monitor & analyze trend of deformation of radar (SSR & IBIS) at Operation Support area (Amole, West Gully & MLA area), GPS Orion at Main Road, Townsite, & Operation Support area (Mill, GBT, Magazine, Orica), rock fence sensor (Panorama), extensometer (Tomawin 484) & Tilt beams sensor (MP73 Tower 280), conducting pre-checklist data.
  • Monitor & analyze trend of deformation of GMS at Main Road & Townsite area (MP 73.5 & Ex-Sion) and conducting pre-checklist GMS.
  • Review system troubleshoot related to monitoring device connection, software upgrade and license (SSR Radar, IBIS Radar, GMS & GPS).
  • Monitor & analyze TARP of rainfall station for road access closure (MLA Portal & Conveyor 71), TARP at Uteki river & Magazine – Orica area, & emergency townsite river inspection.
  • Monitor & analyze FLIR (River monitoring) and CCTV (Amole & ASB area).
  • Update & analyze trend of deformation of 3D vector deformation GPS data,
  • Evaluate alarm & any issue on radar data, review system health check & availability monitoring devices for all Grasberg monitoring system, review system troubleshoot related to monitoring device connection, software upgrade and license (SSR Radar, IBIS Radar, Extensometer, Prism & GPS), and review all inventory of monitoring device (Radar, RTS and Prism) – in the case for replacement or calibration.
  • Review daily monitoring Grasberg – Wanagon area and apply TARP on Grasberg concern area (which associated to geotechnical hazard, rainfall and Grasberg-GBC Interaction).
  • Undertake collaboration on data analysis & interpretation with Geotech Surface related to safely mining at WWSS-Wanagon and Grasberg Pit-GBC Interaction (Yapen & PB9E).
  • Inform Grasberg concern area and recommendation from monitoring data to Grasberg Geotech.
  • Review radar position & ensure fully coverage at Grasberg – Wanagon, especially active mining area (WWSS-Wanagon & GRS-GBC Subsidence and analyze prism data re-measurement & manual measurement at Peak 3 & Lower Wanagon area from Grasberg Geotech.

The key challenges in this position include :

  • Large coverage area and complex geotechnical hazard of the UG Mines, Regional Highland-Lowland, and Surface geotechnical issue.
  • Coordinate in effective way to communicate with various type of PTFI Stakeholders/Divisions.
  • Discover the most effective way in influencing or convincing others to follow and implement the recommendation.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are :

  • S1 or S2 degree in Geology or Mining or Geotechnical or Civil or Geophysics engineering Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters) with 2-3 years experience on geotechnical/mining.
  • Have knowledge of basic theory of rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering from university course work.
