Job Overview:
- PT Berdikari is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Health & Safety Environment (HSE) Intern to join our Human Capital Division.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE principles and practices and will preferably be from a related major.
- This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- HSE Compliance: Assist in ensuring the company’s compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Risk Assessment: Support the conduct of risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Training & Awareness: Help develop and deliver HSE training programs and awareness campaigns for employees.
- Incident Investigation: Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and support the implementation of preventive measures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, inspections, audits, and training sessions.
Inspections & Audits: Participate in regular HSE inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. - Policy Development: Assist in the development and review of HSE policies and procedures.
- Data Analysis: Analyze HSE data to identify trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HSE team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager to support the smooth operation of the department.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
