bp Graduate Programme (2023)

1. bp Process Engineering – Tangguh Project Internship Programme (2023)

Duties and responsibilities :

• The precise nature of your role will be defined by the needs of the business, but your duties and responsibilities will include :
  • Apply your chemical engineering skills to solve real-world problems in technology development, projects, or operations
  • Care passionately about the safety of our facilities, and develop the skills needed to constantly seek inherently safer solutions
  • Recognise the risks in the work you are doing and constantly seek ways to mitigate
  • Recognise the environmental impact of the facilities you are working on, and constantly seek ways to reduce
  • Build relationships both within bp and with our external partners
  • To be eligible for the Process Engineering Internship Programme program you will :
  • need a willingness to learn, a passion to excel and deliver results, and to be undertaking a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical, Process or Biochemical Engineering or studies related to sustainability or low carbon energy
  • be in your penultimate year of study, graduating between August 2023 and July 2024 or those going onto a Masters and PhD students can apply
  • Completing a PhD and have 9-18 months remaining until your PhD completion date

2. bp Graduate HSE&C Programme (2023)

When you first join, you may focus on :

• Working with teams to strengthen their safety culture
• Making sure risk is systematically and proactively managed by ensuring alignment and compliance with policy, standards, regulations and statutory requirements.
• Getting after our net zero, biodiversity, and sustainability aims
• Looking for continuous improvement or long-term project opportunities across risk, HSE&C systems, and learning
• To be eligible for the HSE&C Graduate Programme you will:
• Pursued/pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, process safety engineering, occupational safety, sustainability management, sustainability public policy, industrial engineering or a related subject
• Graduated/graduating between January 2021 and July 2023

• Pursued/pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and studied/ studying a business and/or arts degree with majors in Sales & Marketing and/or digital (or related fields is desirable)
• Fluent in English
