Tambang di kawasan mineral Grasberg, Papua – Indonesia merupakan salah satu deposit tembaga dan emas terbesar di dunia. Freeport saat ini menambang pada fase akhir tambang terbuka Grasberg. Kami tengah mengerjakan beberapa proyek pada kawasan mineral Grasberg sehubungan dengan pengembangan beberapa tambang bawah tanah berkadar tinggi yang berskala besar dan berumur panjang. Secara total, semua tambang bawah tanah ini diharapkan menghasilkan tembaga dan emas skala besar sehubungan dengan peralihan dari tambang terbuka Grasberg.

1. Geo Engineering – Engineer Surface & Regional Monitoring

The key duties and responsibility of this position are:

  • Maintain and improve section safety performance by enforcing and following company standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs.
  • Analyze seismic monitoring data to indicate ground response and seismic related hazards to ensure the safety of underground facilities, access, and production areas.
  • Update database system for geotechnical data/information and reports/recommendation so the database is accessible and preservable.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly report for reviewing from senior engineers/Superintendent.
  • Develop his skills and knowledge to go along with new technology and methods to improve the service to clients and cope with new project and case study in block cave mining.
  • Intense coordination with Organization Leader/direct supervisor for client requirement.

The key challenges in this position include.

  • Large coverage area and complex geotechnical hazard of the UG Mines, Regional Highland-Lowland, and Surface geotechnical issue.
  • Coordinate in effective way to communicate with various type of PTFI Stakeholders/Divisions.
  • Discover the most effective way in influencing or convincing others to follow and implement the TARP, in-depth analysis, and geotechnical recommendation.
  • Communicate & excellence coordination with supervisor, multiculture teamwork and must be energetic & highly work ethic in dynamic geotechnical tasks.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

  • S1 or S2 degree in Geology or Mining or Geotechnical or Civil or Geophysics engineering Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters) with 2 years’ experience on geotechnical/mining.
  • Have knowledge of basic theory of rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering from university course work.
  • Be able to communicate & excellence coordinate with supervisor, multiculture teamwork and must be energetic & highly work ethic.
  • English for both oral and written.
  • Computer, such as VULCAN, AUTOCAD, Seismic and Mining Software (Deswik, Voxler, GIS, etc.).

2. Mine Underground – Engineer, GBC Railways Infrastructure & Repair

The key challenges in this position:

  • High risk work area
  • Specific project in underground mining environment
  • Developing needed skill sets and ownership in a workforce that is being introduced to new technologies and construction techniques.
  • Management of manpower to ensure positions are filled in timely manner.
  • Ensuring that the construction schedules match the aggressive production ramp up schedules.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil / mechanical engineering or business with 2 years experiences in UG Mining or Associate degree in Engineering (D3) with minimum experience of total 5 years.
  • Experience in UG construction project
  • Experience in setting up scheduling systems, running projects and business management.

3. Power Generation & Transmission – Control Room Ops Coal Plant

Education and Experiences:

  • Graduate of a Senior Technical High School with > 5 years of experience at Coal Power Plant operations as Station Equipment Operator.
  • Holds a Diploma (D3) with > 3 years of relevant experience in Coal Power Plant operations.
  • Holds a Bachelors degree (S1) with > 2 years of experience in Coal Power Plant operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of all aspects of Coal Power Plant operations
  • Proficient in basic electrical, mechanical, chemical, and control system principles.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and control system drawings.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage for reporting, including knowledge of LOTOTO processes, and PI systems.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Capable of conceptual design and cost estimation.
  • Able to develop engineering designs and detailed material procurement plans.

4. Power Generation & Transmission – Foreman Shift Operation Dual Fuel Power Plant

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Supervising Shift Crew Operation Dual Fuel Power Plant (DFPP), create a work schedule for the daily, weekly & monthly work for the Shift crew Operation.
  • Providing Periodic Plan Safety Meeting, Plan Safety Inspection and Plant Job Observation.
  • Providing daily reports and its analysis related to operational and production at diesel DFPP
  • Apply and supports for environmental, safety and technical issues to supporting work activities related to production.
  • Ensure Power Plant Run an effectiveness, efficiency, reliability, and safety for supply power to production and infrastructure customers.

The key challenges in this position:

  • Power Plant total blackout and he needs to make decisions the safe step of procedure to re-start the power plant as soon as possible to ensure operations back in normal running to ensure continuity power production and power supplies to the overall mining production.
  • Genset (s) have a major problem need long time maintenance. This position needs to be done the good coordination with maintenance crew to decide the timeframe of maintenance can be done with efficient time manner.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Senior Technical School or Senior General School with 10 years’ experience of Operation Diesel Engine Wartsila
  • D3 Graduate in Engineering with 3 years’ experience of Operation Diesel Engine Wartsila
  • Bachelor’s degree S1 in Engineering with 2 years’ experience of Operation Diesel Engine Wartsila
  • Good English, written and oral communication.

5. Power Generation & Transmission – Mechanical Engineer Maintenance Coal Plant

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years of related experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in power plant commissioning with extensive practical experience in power systems and diesel generator maintenance.
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (D3) with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Senior Technical High School graduate with over 10 years of experience in diesel generator preventive maintenance and power systems.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, including component preparation and system maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of power generation systems, governors, electrical power systems, electric motor equipment, and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in English communication, both oral and written.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering and shop drawings.
  • Thorough knowledge of medium- and high-speed engine components and operations.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Windows-based applications.

6. Smelter Operation Readiness – Chief Accountant Cash Management

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Consolidate monthly cash flow projections for PMR and Smelter business projects.
  • Maintain funding requests to the group for operational activities
  • Consolidate daily cash balance for PMR and Smelter business project.
  • Maintain good relationships with bank partners for the purpose of cash management optimization and project automation.
  • Responsible for preparing cash flow and fluctuation analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for SIMODIS Reporting as per Central Bank Regulation
  • Responsible for daily cash movement in the bank statement

The key challenges in this position:

  • Maintain balance between financial condition and operational needs.
  • Provide accurate and on time reports based on internal and external standards to fulfill government and other users’ requirements by making good coordination with subordinates and other parties.
  • Analyze the complex data, in order to get reliable data for making planning and evaluation to better decision-making for the best interests of Management.
  • Describe the fluctuation analysis in the detailed transactions and summarize in a readable, reliable, and clear report for management’s review.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and reporting standards such as US GAAP, Indo GAAP, IAS, and IFRS.
  • Strong understanding of FCPA and government and tax regulations related to the company’s business.
  • The incumbent should be able to instill the department’s vision and mission into each staff in the section.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • S-1 (bachelor) in Management/Finance/Accounting.
  • Has deep knowledge of internal control function and related regulation within Company’s business such as FCPA, government, and tax regulation.
  • Has a minimum of at least 5-7 years experience in finance and accounting of a multinational company or a managerial position as an internal/external auditor with a proven managerial skills and work experience in the international public accounting firm.

7. Smelter Operation Readiness – Chief Accountant Sales Finance

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Work closely with Sales Team for Smelter and PMR Business Operation to assess and communicate the issues, risks and opportunities related to Sales Finance.
  • Review revenue balance for monthly closing purpose.
  • Monitor completeness of sales recognition on a monthly basis.
  • Review on product sales trend analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Strengthen control related with sales transactions.
  • Prepare and review sales-related financial reports, including sales revenue, cost of sales, and gross profit.
  • Assist in generating sales performance reports and analysis to support sales team and management decision making.
  • Be actively involved in any innovation plans by providing financial information and analysis of each alternative.

The key challenges in this position:

  • Strong understanding on end-to-end process on Sales Area.
  • The incumbent should be able to prevent any kind of issues incurred within his/her area that will negatively impact the company’s business.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

  • S-1 (bachelor) in Majoring in Management/Finance/Accounting.

8. Smelter Operation Readiness – Operator Electrorefinery (ASM & Circulation)

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Begin the shift by checking the operational status of all relevant equipment.
  • Prepare reagent additives according to operational requirements.
  • Operate the Anode Stripping Machine to ensure optimal performance.
  • Run the filter press and polishing filter to maintain effective filtration.
  • Manage the Acid Purification Unit and ensure purification procedures are followed correctly.
  • Operate courier analysers to monitor and analyse process parameters.
  • Monitor system performance, including circulation systems, cooling towers, and gas scrubbers.
  • Ensure proper flow and distribution of materials in the circulation systems.
  • Oversee environmental and safety compliance through the operation of cooling towers and gas scrubbers.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment downtime.
  • Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions to maintain continuous operation.
  • Collect accurate operational data and report findings for process optimization.
  • End the shift by documenting any issues, maintenance actions, and coordinating with relevant teams for follow-up.

The key challenges in this position:

  • Maintenance and Preventive Measures:
    Ensuring proper maintenance and implementing preventive measures is crucial to avoid machinery breakdowns, which can disrupt production schedules and result in costly repairs.
  • Operator Training and Skill Development:

  • Downtime and Production Interruptions:

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

  • High School with minimum 6 years experience in chemical, metal, or mineral industry. Or Diploma with minimum 4 years experience in chemical, metal, or mineral industry. Or Bachelor with minimum 2 years experience in chemical, metal, or mineral industry.
  • Experience in operating industrial machinery, particularly in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Knowledge of pump operations, diaphragm, centrifugal, and rotary pumps
