Shopee Apprentice Program (SAP)

• The Apprentice Program is an internship programme specially designed for second and penultimate year students, to hone their professional skills and develop them into young leaders. Get ready to make a difference to the e-commerce and digital finance industry, and dive head-first into participating in end-to-end processes in large-scale projects, and launching integral initiatives.

What do we offer in this internship program ?

1. Mentorship & Development

• Strengthen your capabilities and equip yourself with relevant and valuable professional skills through structured training programmes and on-the-job learning. You will be paired with a mentor and receive guidance throughout the programme.

2. Enriching #LifeAtShopee Experience

• You will get to attend an exclusive orientation programme, join social networking events and forge connections with our team of diverse and passionate individuals at Shopee.

3. Ownership of Meaningful Projects

• Explore your potential and make your mark in Shopee by being a part of projects that impact millions in the region. At the end of the Apprentice Program, you will get to present your project to a panel of Shopee leaders.

4. Fast-track yourself into the Shopee Global Leaders Program or Sea Management Associate Program (MAP) – Shopee & SeaMoney Track

• You will get the opportunity to join an accelerated track to the selection rounds in the Global Leaders Program or Sea Management Associate Program (MAP) – Shopee & SeaMoney Track.

The Apprentice Program will place you into one of our functions* below, but not limited to:

• Business Development & Partnerships
  • Be involved in the pursuit of strategic opportunities by developing relationships and expanding partnerships.
• Business Intelligence
  • Build Shopee’s data platforms and conduct data analysis to solve business-related issues.
• Marketing
  • Conceptualise and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility.
• Operations
  • Work on the end-to-end buying process, starting from the search for a product on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the product.

Do you have what it takes ?

• University student pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline at a recognised university
• Self-starter who is eager to learn and possesses a can-do attitude
• A team player with good interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Effective problem solver who is able to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
