1. Graduate Development Program – TSF Engineering (GDP-TSF)

The Graduate Engineer (TSF) will be involved in the engineering aspects of TSF Dam construction, working under the supervision of senior TSF Engineering personnel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing all field and laboratory tests related to concrete and soil, and maintaining thorough, organized documentation of test results.
  • Conducting instrumentation work, including Inclinometer, Vibrating Wire Piezometer (VWP), and Surface Movement Analysis (SMA).
  • Ensuring field and laboratory tests on concrete and soil comply with established standards.
  • Overseeing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) to ensure TSF construction meets required specifications.
  • Actively communicating with the contractor’s QA/QC Engineer.
  • Providing daily advice to the Supervisor regarding test results.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Indonesian citizen
  • Bachelor’s Degree applicants aged 18–25 years old.
  • Master’s/Postgraduate Degree applicants aged 24–28 years old.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Solid understanding of soil mechanics.
  • Knowledge of concrete mix design.
  • Familiarity with field and laboratory concrete and soil testing.
  • Understanding of dam construction and geotechnical instrumentation.

2. Graduate Development Program – Training & Development (GDP-TD)

  • The Graduate Development Program – Training & Development will be responsible for implementing employee development programs, organizational development, and digitalization initiatives at the Martabe Gold Mine. The role ensures that all activities related to employee development are carried out safely, in line with established procedures, while providing excellent service to employees and relevant stakeholders. The incumbent will work to meet set targets responsibly, contributing to the continuous development of employees. Additionally, the role will participate in various Human Capital Development programs and activities as assigned.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Human Resource Management, or Psychology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Training and Development (either within a company or as a consultant).
  • Indonesian citizen, with a bachelor’s degree for candidates aged 18-25 or a Master’s/Postgraduate degree for candidates aged 24-28.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Experience as a trainer.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (at least intermediate level).
  • Organizational experience in a coordinator role.
  • Completed training/certification in Human Resource Development.

3. Graduate Development Program – SCM (GDP-SCM02)

The Graduate Development Program in SCM aims to:

  • Facilitating the procurement of operational equipment, parts, and supplies through Forward Purchase Agreements (FPA) and under the guidance of the Contract & Procurement Manager.
  • Negotiating and preparing contracts and purchase orders for domestic and international procurement of spare parts, stock items, and direct purchases.
  • Managing all site contracts, which cover a broad range of services across the Martabe operations, varying in scope, criticality, value, and risk profile. These contracts, regardless of size or complexity, are essential to the successful operation of the Martabe Gold Mine. Maintaining PTAR’s ethical standards is crucial, with a strong emphasis on adherence to company and employee codes of ethics, confidentiality, and company values.
  • Preparing and overseeing the PTAR Martabe contracting function, ensuring all commercial aspects of contracting activities across PTAR user departments comply with company standards, policies, procedures, Indonesian law, and the Martabe Mine Contract of Work. The Contract Engineer must provide high-level support in contract bidding, negotiation, preparation, administration, and management, while consistently applying an ethical, efficient, risk-managed, and cost-effective approach throughout the process.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in purchasing, procurement, management, business, or engineering.
  • Indonesian citizen aged 18-25 years with a bachelor’s degree, or 24-28 years with a Master’s/Postgraduate degree.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including the ability to implement and maintain effective processes and procedures.
  • Excellent documentation skills, sound business acumen, and advanced English writing abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Computer literacy, with experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a basic understanding of Indonesian Contract Law.
  • Demonstrated integrity in interactions with suppliers and contractors.

4. Graduate Development Program – Metallurgy (GDP-MTL)

The selected candidate will be based at the Martabe Site within the Processing (Metallurgy) Department and will report directly to the Plant Metallurgist :

  • This program is designed to develop recent graduates into metallurgists, providing exposure to plant operations and issues, conducting lab tests, and participating in daily activities as part of their professional growth. The role is essential in supporting both the metallurgy and operations teams by offering technical assistance to optimize plant productivity. Additionally, the candidate will participate in internal projects aimed at enhancing plant performance.
  • Key responsibilities include assisting the data entry clerk in compiling metallurgy reports (daily, weekly, and monthly), handling bullion weighing in the gold room, managing shipment preparations from the site to the refinery, and performing related tasks.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes :

  • A bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Indonesian citizen, with a bachelor’s degree aged 18-25 years, or Master’s/Post-Graduate Degree aged 24-28 years at the time of enrolment.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Basic knowledge of CIL/CIP gold processing.
  • Familiarity with the tools, materials, and technology used in mineral processing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions efficiently.
  • An understanding of the production flow of a CIL Process Plant.

5. Graduate Development Program – Maintenance (GDP-MNT01)

  • The Graduate Development Program – Maintenance is designed to educate, train, and prepare fresh graduates to become professional engineers specializing in electrical reliability and/or electrical projects. These engineers will support the Processing Maintenance execution teams in accordance with operational requirements. The development program will focus on engineering applications related to mineral processing plant machinery and the enhancement of leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the process control and electrical instrumentation functions within the processing plant. They will work collaboratively as part of a team, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and provide professional support to the broader maintenance group.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes :

  • A recognized Engineering Degree in Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from a reputable university (Indonesian or overseas).
  • Indonesian citizenship. For bachelor’s degree holders: aged 18-25; for Master’s/Postgraduate degree holders: aged 24-28.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and single-line drawings.
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • English proficiency supported by valid certification (e.g., TOEFL: 400 or IELTS: 4.0).
  • Full commitment to the program, including willingness to sign a Development Agreement and work on-site under a roster schedule.

6. Graduate Development Program – Mining (GDP-MIN01)

  • The role of the Graduate Development Program – Mining is to assist and support the Engineer – Drill & Blast in providing effective engineering control for drilling and blasting activities, as well as overseeing the supervision of the drilling and blasting contractor. The candidate will be responsible for developing drill and blast designs with the goal of ensuring statutory compliance and achieving blast results that optimize project costs. In addition, the role involves supporting drilling and blasting activities, along with OrePro3D modeling, particularly for the full implementation of OrePro3D across all ore and waste material operations.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (master’s degree preferred).
  • Indonesian citizen aged 18–25 for bachelor’s degree holders or 24–28 for Master’s/Postgraduate Degree holders at the time of enrolment.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of drill and blast engineering and hard rock mining operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Surpac, tie-up/in software, OrePro 3D, Split Desktop, Blast ware, or other equivalent drill and blast software packages.
  • Active participation in academic or non-academic organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • English proficiency, supported by relevant documentation (e.g., TOEFL score of 400 or IELTS score of 4.0).

7. Graduate Development Program – Mine Geology (GDP-MG)

  • The Graduate Development Program – Mine Geology offers a hands-on opportunity to support geological development within the mining area and daily grade control activities. The selected candidate will assist in providing accurate geological field data for ore block design and will work closely with the geologist on various technical tasks, all under supervision.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology from an accredited university with a GPA > 3.0.
  • Indonesian citizen. Age requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree: 18-25 years old
  • Master’s/Postgraduate degree: 24-28 years old
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with preference for candidates having less than 2 years of experience in mine geology or mineral exploration.
  • Proficient in geological mapping (essential) and familiar with hydrothermal mineral identification at a megascopic level (preferred).
  • Willingness to work in the field and trainable for the role.
  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge of 3D modelling, Microsoft applications, and/or Power BI considered an advantage.
  • Good English communication and reporting skills, with a TOEFL score of 400 or higher preferred.
  • Possession of a driver’s license is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on-site with a 4 weeks on/2 weeks off roster

8. Graduate Development Program – Human Resources (GDP-HR)

  • The Graduate Development Program – Human Resources will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks across the Human Resources Department, including in Recruitment, Industrial Relations, and Compensation & Benefits.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Law or industrial engineering.
  • Preferably possess an HR Expertise Certification or a BNSP certificate in HR.
  • Maximum of 2 years of experience in HR; Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be an Indonesian citizen. Bachelor’s Degree applicants should be aged 18-25, while Master’s/Postgraduate Degree applicants should be aged 24-28 at the time of enrolment.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • The Graduate Development Program – Exploration is designed to support geologists in various technical tasks, working under close supervision to gain practical experience.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering (from Indonesia).
  • Indonesian citizen aged 18-25 for bachelor’s degree holders, and 24-28 for Master’s/Postgraduate degree holders at the time of enrolment.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficiency in general computer software.
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation.

10. Graduate Development Program – Environment (GDP-ENV)

  • The Graduate Development Program – Environment aims to ensure the accurate entry of all environmental data collected by the department into both digital and hardcopy management systems, utilizing specialized database software, such as DataSight, for water quality monitoring data. Proper storage and efficient retrieval of this data is critical to facilitating internal and compliance reporting in line with PTAR’s environmental policies, ANDAL, RKL, and RPL requirements, relevant permits, and Indonesian and international regulations. This role will focus on developing and implementing secure, efficient data management systems for the department’s monitoring data. Additionally, the position involves creating a departmental Geographical Information System (GIS) to allow for professional review and presentation of monitoring data to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirement :

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, GIS, or Chemistry.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role, or up to 5 years in general mining environmental management.
  • Indonesian citizen aged 18–25 for bachelor’s degree applicants or 24–28 for Master’s/Postgraduate applicants.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Preferably possess a Light Vehicle (LV) driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
